“Guru Purnima”- Teacher's role in Building Child’s Future.

Teacher is a role model for child. He/She is effective and play a major role in molding students. Students are to be handled with affection and courtesy. One of the most important festivals celebrated in India is the Guru Purnima. It is a festival for the Hindus as well as the Buddhists. Guru Purnima is basically a way by which students show their love and gratitude towards their Guru or the teacher. The word Guru is derived from two Sanskrit words “Gu” and “Ru” of which the former means ignorance and darkness in a person and the latter means someone who removes that darkness from the person. So the word Guru means the person who removes the darkness and ignorance from someone. Teachers are alert and teaching is done on the  level of learner. Then gradually the teacher, upgrades to higher  level, and check that child is not left with empty mind. Teachers, let students understand the career growth, future prospects, make aware of better colleges and  better options.

Educational Field Trip to "Jehangir Art Gallery"for the Students.

Educational  Field Trips  at School    S.E.International School, took their students to “Jehangir Art Gallery”, for an Educational Fieldtrip.    Students of Class Fifth to Class Eight  with Teachers of respective classes have accompanied them, in school buses. School field trips give students more opportunities for “hands-on learning. Such trips explore their knowledge. They enjoyed alot. Teachers already have too much on their plate and we’re here to ensure that students are receiving the proper and adequate education by  educators   in planning their field trips. We ensure that schedules are clear and have the curriculum-driven goal to all of the activities on the field trip. Adults must be present to ensure students’ safety and to help the kids understand what is expected, this is where Educational Trips fits in. When field trips are well executed, the students benefit greatly from the hands-on experience, but here are some detailed descriptions. B

English Elocution Competition at School- Learning Communication Skills. T he speeches were rich in content and gave much food for thought. These activities and competitions bring out areas wherein our students need to put in added effort to move from ‘good to better’. At this competition some extra commitment to delivery would have changed the order of scoring.   Each division was represented by two students; the audition and selection being done by the Language teacher of the respective division. The topics chosen dealt with current and relevant issues: For Stds VIII, the choice was from the following topics: 1.    A Famous Personality (National / World / Religious). 2.    Tree Plantation - Green India. 3.    Garbage Reduction – Need of the Hour. For Stds IX, the students had to speak on one of the following: 1.    Importance of Social Media -- Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. 2.    Corruption has become a ‘way of life’. 3.    Climate Change –

Eco-Friendly Activity-Tree Plantation at School.

Plantation of Trees-An Event at School.     Continuing with its tradition of preserving environment and having eco-friendly activities, the students conducted tree plantation programme in theS.E.International  high school campus. The teachers, students and our principle undertook a plantation drive. Trees are important, necessary and valuable to our very existence. It's not too hard to believe that without trees we humans would not exist on this beautiful planet. Unfortunately, our need for trees is more than ever. While science and technology has provided us with many comforts, the consequent urbanization and industrialization also has had some undesired side-effects; Global Warming being one of those.
