School with focus on STEM, Innovative entertaining model for KIDS to get involved-parent's desire and market's need

Kids start going to school for many reasons. Each school adopts syllabus, to take the child to next level. Some elementary basics are necessary to keep the child in discipline. We have subject teachers in secondary , higher studies for different subjects. They take child deep into the subject but its relation to present time or its application to present time or use of this information to solve real life problem and  link is missed.

Educating students in four specific disciplines; - science, technology, engineering and mathematics- in an interdisciplinary and application in real life - approach,  is necessary. Simply parting with knowledge or information to students, passing with high grades , without knowing the art of implementing, use the knowledge will lead us no where. This  will leave big gap between the market need and education.

School should start orienting the child, prepare him for the need of market. He should be able to understand the need/ problem , find solution  and add quality to the life of people. School can work out innovative entertaining model to get kids involved from early age.

School also should plan to introduce teaching, these four disciplines as one interrelated subject , called STEM, that is cohesive learning experience based on real world Application. Where science, technology, engineering and mathematics is handled by one teacher, using all the information, at the child level of understanding and show them the use of this in real life. Make each child question the science?, technology?, engineering?, and mathematics?.

 United States has been leader in this field. President Obama has announced, 'Education to Innovative' campaign to motivate and inspire students to excel in STEM subjects.

Future market will be for STEM related jobs. United Kingdom, Germany and Australia have also shown interest and are pushing these subjects in Schools. We in India should also focus on these topics. Very few schools have shown interest in STEM related field.
