Child will enter the mall, after a security check. he will collect carry bag   from the desk. Move  on display desks. Pick up the stuff of his choice . And make payment  with card. Learning with fun will take place. No need to read text book. No teachers help. His experience will teach him. Learning without any burden.

Questions makes child learn at school

Question, why apple falls down? Why there is a cycle of day and night ? Why we have rain ? How can we transform the energy ? What do we learn from nature ? Each action has reaction. With reasoning, inventions took place. With inventions came discipline . Thinking and reasoning power improved. Teachers at S E International School encourage students to question. Good Byes are not easy but are necessary for success.

We had a special day for Xth standard students to say Good Bye on last Saturday, 23rd January 2016. Our heart were full of feelings, but it was necessary to part for success. We wished our students good luck. Principal  Mrs. Jaya Kunder motivated students. She gave them the right direction. She told them to have faith in their own self.  She appreciated teachers for their role in inspiring students. Students also promised that they will do their best and will stand up to their expectations. Mahesh Sir, Director, wished them for their  free life from next day. Explained  them  to Never quit.  Each day comes with new opportunities.Be ready to face new ball, and sure they will hit six one day and make new records. In rule of life no body is declared out, unless he himself quits. The "TILAK" ceremony of good luck, and Best Luck card was given to each student. Ceremony ended with workshop on "Carrier Guidance" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1IR1A1GsaA

In trying to accept Steve’s perspective, I surmise that perhaps the customer interview process is not a theoretical feedback survey or focus group, but in fact, it is as dirty as direct sales.  I continue to grapple with the issue and will see it firsthand in my class this semester, as my students dive deeper searching during the interview process. Steve’s second piece of advice I struggle with is the removal of guest speakers. As part of my course, I created Founders F

The “3 Fs” of Effective Parenting

The “3 Fs” of Effective Parenting Discipline should be : Firm:  Consequences should be clearly stated and then adhered to when the inappropriate behavior occurs. Fair:  The punishment should fit the crime. Also in the case of recurring behavior, consequences should be stated in advance so the child knows what to expect. Harsh punishment is not necessary. Using a simple Time Out can be effective when it is used consistently every time the behavior occurs. Also, use of reward for a period of time like part of a day or a whole day when no Time Outs or maybe only one Time Out is received. Friendly:  Use a friendly but firm communication style when letting a children know they have behaved inappropriately and let them know they will receive the “agreed upon” consequence. Encourage them to try to remember what they should do instead to avoid future consequences. Work at “catching them being good” and praise them for appropriate behavior.

Project -class 4th

The old-school model of passively learning facts and reciting them out of context is no longer sufficient to prepare students to survive in today's world. Solving highly complex problems requires that students have both fundamental skills (reading, writing, and math) and   21st century skills (teamwork, problem solving, research gathering, time management, information synthesizing, utilizing high tech tools). With this combination of skills, students become directors and managers of their learning process, guided and mentored by a skilled teacher. These 21st century skills include personal and social responsibility planning, critical thinking, reasoning, and creativity strong communication skills, both for interpersonal and presentation needs cross-cultural understanding visualizing and decision making knowing how and when to use technology and choosing the most appropriate tool for the task It lets the teacher have multiple assessment opportunities. Project Marathi-Class 1st & 2nd

Project Marathi-Class 1st & 2nd Marathi is strongly influenced by  Sanskrit  & is the Indo-Aryan language with 50% of vocabulary identical to the Sanskrit language  Additionally, it has some special grammatical features derived from  Sanskrit  that are not retained in other major Indian languages. For example, Marathi has inclusive as well as exclusive forms of ' we ' and also a neuter gender which is rarely present in languages like  Hindi  and  Punjabi  and absent in  Bengali . Also, it is one of the three Indo-Aryan languages retaining Sanskrit letter  (the others are Gujarati and Punjabi). Marathi is the only Indo-European language.

Introduce TABs -- No Heavy Bags in School.

"Let us rewrite the future of Child, not burden them. Use TAB as their friend to explore the World". Lighten their burden, make schooling a joyous experience The move to lighten school bags has got a fresh impetus with the State Human Rights Commission now intervening on behalf of students and suggesting that text-books be split up term-wise. What do you think are other ways to lessen the daily burden of schoolchildren?  As the bone structure and muscular system in children is in a state of constant development, prolonged carrying of a heavy school bag can lead to a forward neck posture and rounded shoulders which can cause muscle weakness and pain. Extreme cases may even lead to breathing problems and chest pain, "Ideally, the school bag should weigh 10% of the student's body weight. Anything beyond that is harmful. Other factors such as nutrition, physical exercises they undergo, stress levels and hours at school come in to play," said orthop

A School project -Learning Schools.

When I talk with groups of teachers about  project learning , audiences typically divide along predictable lines.  There are the pioneers who have been teaching with the project approach for years and wouldn't consider going back to more traditional instruction. There are those eager to give projects a try but not quite sure how to begin. The goal is not only positive press coverage (although that doesn't hurt) but also a better way of talking about results. Most project-learning schools operate within the larger, more traditional educational system. These pioneering schools, looking for better ways of reaching today's learners, have been willing to rethink just about everything: How should the school day be scheduled? How do we measure student progress toward learning goals? What's the best size for a learning community that fosters strong connections between students and adults? Models vary somewhat from one community to the next but share a common visio

Happy Pongal 2016

Pongal in India Pongal, which is celebrated in countries such as India, marks the start of sun’s six-month long journey northwards (Uttarayana). This observance occurs annually around January 14 each year. Hindus consider the date as auspicious and mark this as the beginning of sun’s movement towards the zodiac Capricorn (Makarm Rashi). Pongal is associated with many legends but one of the most popular ones is the legend of Govardhan Mountain and legend of Lord Shiva and his bull, Nandi. According to the legend of Govardhan Mountain, Lord Krishna lifted the mountain on his little finger on Bhogi, which is the first day of Pongal, to protect the cattle and people from Indra, an angry rain god. According to the legend of Lord Shiva, on the third day of Pongal, Lord Shiva sent his buffalo Nandi to tell people to have oil bath daily and eat once a month. However, Nandi became confused and told people to eat daily and bathe once a month. This angered Lord Shiva so he placed Nandi
