Education is understanding not fear of exam

At school we prepare child to understand each word. Our teacher write new word or phrase, on Board from the lesson. Teacher do not carry text book to the class. She comes prepared with her homework. She discusses the new word / phrase, explains its synonymous,  meaning, its use in real life , gets the answer from the student. Shows PPts and small video clips .

70 % of the lesson is done. Now she asks child to open  the lesson of the text book, explains the lesson relating to the understanding / explanation shown earlier.  Each child understands the lesson, in his own words. Now he is ready to rewrite the lesson in his words. He does not have to write in word to word of text book as answer.

Even when teacher asks to write 'ESSAY' on particular TOPIC ?  She first picks up common words, actions related to topic, discusses in class. Makes sure that children have understood the Topic. Then asks them to write in their own words. Majority of class are successful in their attempt with excitement. Teachers motivate them. As a result learning takes place. Teachers can not teach unless child wants to learn. Therefore at our school, our teachers make sure that child is willing to know new words, and  is able to express him self.

Teacher gives them homework to find out meaning of few new words / phrases, their synonymous from the dictionary or library or Computer / TABs / surfing from 'NET' . So in next class her lesson plan becomes easy. And real learning has takes place.
Now no fear of exam, as student know the lesson in his own words. Goal setting becomes easy, as Dhoni and Virat set for team  before the match.

They are ready with the ground condition  before the match starts. They do not have any pressure in any situation, They are seasoned to find ways from their past experiences.
Students do their projects, assignments with passion and hard work using computer / TAB, surfing from the 'net'. There may be few distractions but teacher motivate them to believe in self and they are successful for sure.

Education v/s literacy- concern of school - life line of parents

Being literate is not the same as being educated. Education is more of a process than an ability. It's a cycle: observe -> learn -> understand -> apply -> observe. Literacy is a tool in this process. Your choice of education is academic in this process . We need to work hand in hand..... Exploration on project work I  It is important to understand this. Literacy is not the only way to be educated. Suppose you want to be an amazing cook? You have to burn your fingers, burn the food, burn a few utensils, know the difference between salt and lemon and so on. Richard Branson- CEO of Virgin Airlines- Richard Branson in his own words : "I have never been shy in sharing my opinion about education. I wasn’t inspired at school. In fact I started my first business, Student Magazine, at the age of 15 in part to campaign against the schooling of the day. At the time, I was given an ultimatum: 'stay in school and give up the magazine, or purs...
