Role of of school in child development.

Role of school is very important in building India for 2020. Learning takes place inside four walls and outside the classrooms also.  A child's thirst to new words, activities, images, are very strong.  At the same time his concentration time is very less. He gets diverted very fast. At this juncture, it is important to be with him.
Every minute new product is launched. Before we understand to use  our  mobile, a new model will come in market with better applications. We are all living in a fast world. We can not stay with limited knowledge of text books. We need to prepare our self and our child to face this fast changing world. T V , mobile, computer technologies , are with child  since his birth. Child has to understand the good part of it and  move ahead for better. If these technologies are not covered in school, he will be left behind in competition of his generation.
At S E International School, we take care of a child's growth. We try to make him learn words/lessons with images, small video clips,  take them to surrounding spots to let them know the role of community helpers, different mode of transports, communications in group, & make them do projects. At higher standards, they are taught to explore on  search engine  and develop presentations. Teachers supervise and encourage him to prepare in presentation. At regular intervals we arrange parent workshops and our children teach them the principles of  WHY? , HOW?, WHAT? in nature.
Children workshops are  also arranged with experts of the field at regular intervals. Learning is made interesting and competitive with latest technologies. At secondary grades V to VIII, TABs of reputed company 'INTEL' is given to child. Licensed software from 'RAPPLES', with e-books, educational games relating to grades and syllabus, PPts, video clips  are pre loaded. Child can use search engine to explore. Teachers control, guide the child through her TAB. (She can check/correct child's TAB from her TAB).

S.E.International School is a permanently unaided private school.  The school has to pay service tax on services it hires from service provider, which the school has to collect and pay to Govt. It has only one source of  revenue- the school fees. Teachers are bringing changes in school for child's developments. Lot of new development has taken place. Children are themselves enjoying these changes and have great respect towards the teachers, who are the guiding light in every child's growth. Parents also have endorsed their satisfaction on these changes.
However from the last few weeks,  few of the parents are unaware about the growth and vision that the school wishes to carry forward and are instead creating obstacles to the school in growing ahead. They do not wish to have TAB based education, training from renowned experts, reputed Artists of international cadre.

We are aware of the difference in treatment in a Govt. hospital and a private hospital, and we wish to enjoy the worldly treatment, however we do not wish to spare money for the same.

We must understand the world , its speed and select the right mode of transport. But can not resort to mob mentality, which will take us no where.

Teachers As Role Models.

"Teachers at S E International School, are trained to keep their relations with students, which taste like Chocolate, and  not like Medicine"  Teachers As Role Models A role model is a person who inspires and encourages us to strive for greatness, live to our fullest potential and see the best in ourselves. A role model is someone we admire and someone we aspire to be like. We learn through them, through their commitment to excellence and through their ability to make us realize our own personal growth. We look to them for advice and guidance. A role model can be anybody: a parent, a sibling, a friend but some of our most influential and life-changing role models are  teachers . “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” ―  Franklin D.
